Tony Casey and Steve Stanley are out of the studio today so Matthew and I are running things on our own(BTW, there will be no show next week). We have two special guests coming on to discuss the Emurgency pre-conference(featuring Dr. Christian Smith) held in Jacksonville, FL a few weeks ago as part of the Gathering. Jeremy Summers is the director of Adult Ministries for the Wesleyan church. Tim Kirkpatrick is the Discipleship/Small Groups Pastor at Foster St. Wesleyan Church in Asheboro, NC. We will spend the final 30 minutes today discussing ministry to emerging adults and discipleship practices that work.
We will also have tons of giveaways and prizes for those who are tuning in. How about a Super Bowl contest? Yup, we’re announcing it tomorrow.
Here are the stories we will be discussing to start the show:
1. State of the Union summary
2. The Pros and Cons of Adopting 4G Android Phones Today
Definition of 4g Wireless: Speed requirements for 4G service set the peak download speed at 100 Mbit/s for high mobility communication (such as from trains and cars) and 1 Gbit/s for low mobility communication (such as pedestrians and stationary users).
3. The marriage killer: One in five American divorces now involve Facebook
4. Print from Your Phone with Google Cloud Print
